MyCampus Upgrade - In Depth: What's Next?
The third stage in the project is the "functional upgrade".
During this third phase students can look forward to the development of user interface improvements to a number of pages, ensuring that those visiting from a smartphone or tablet will enjoy the best possible experience, both practically and visually.
For staff, improved navigation functionality will be incrementally rolled out, grouping functionally similar components together allowing users to navigate easily between different pages. New functionality will be adopted to enable improvements to existing, and expansion of support to new, processes.
We will want to consult as widely as possible for this stage of the upgrade. We will be consulting with students regarding the prioritisation of self-service functions to redevelop as mobile-friendly processes and pages and with staff regarding their existing processes and any changes they'd like to see.
